# Oblique Modular Bottle Storage The L'Amant Wine Rack Artfully Displays a High Quality Collection By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-03-01 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lamant-wine-rack References: [suckerpunchdaily](http://www.suckerpunchdaily.com/2013/02/28/lamant/) & [vote.vindegarde](http://vote.vindegarde.ca/products/l-amant) The L'Amant Wine Rack really does three things: it provides a place to store your collection of vino, it showcases the beverages' labels and it acts as a decorative interior element on its own. The trio of practical and aesthetic functions becomes even more appealing when you take into account the customizability of the [storage system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/original-modern-shelving). The shallow units are made from wood and take the shape of shelving or oblique cubbies when layered. Wine bottles are arranged on the ledges and in the niches in a sideways orientation, emphasizing a lovely horizontality that you can't usually create with the [display of the elegant vessels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shelf-life) when erect. L'Amant Wine Rack can be aggregated freely into [various combinations in any quantity](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brickbox-modular-shelving), furnishing the back of a bar and mounted on the wall. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 44% | Activity: 23% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Modular Wine Storage Systems:** Create customizable and aesthetically pleasing wine storage solutions for the modern wine collector. - **Horizontal Wine Bottle Display:** Emphasize the beauty of wine bottle labels through creating oblique, horizontal display options. - **Decorative Wine Racks:** Combining the practical need for wine storage with elegant and visually appealing decor styles. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Create unique and customizable wine storage options for interior design projects. - **Wine Retail:** Develop modular wine storage systems to appeal to modern wine aficionados looking for customizable storage options. - **Furniture and Home Decor:** Create high design and functional wine storage and display options for home decor brands and furniture retailers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Premium Wine Storage Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/premium-wine-storage.md) - [Customizable Wine Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elegant-wine-cabinet.md) - [Wine-Storage Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/placemat-hightop-table.md) - [Wine Storage Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roll-side-table.md) - [L-Shaped Stacked Shelving](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loft-shelf.md) - [Wine Retail Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/enofilo.md) - [Customizable Style-Conscious Shelving](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ledoux-modular-shelf-system.md) - [Vinyl Storage Shelving Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-toneoptic-rpm.md) - [Abstract Jigsaw-Like Shelving](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spectator-shelf.md)
