The [recently refurbished home](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gunter-and-co) elegantly combines aspects of its original layout and design with contemporary additions, showing off the best of materials across decades. From the outside, Lake Wendouree House looks modern thanks to a canted roof and large windows that let in ample natural light. However, the inside of the Australian abode tells a different story. Much of the home is sleekly white with metal accents, but the designers opted to retain classic aspects like a rich wooden paneling that lines the central hallway and ornate glass panes in the door to the living room.
