Lake Iseo, located in Lombardy, Italy, is set to be the subject of a series of [floating piers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floating-river-cabin) that will be built far away from its shore. The project, titled descriptively 'The Floating Piers,' is the product of Christo Vladimirov Javacheff's creative mind -- an architect who was reportedly responsible for 'The Gates' installation in New York's Central Park.

With The Floating Piers, Christo Vladimirov Javacheff has planned for a 70,000 square meter construction to appear on Lake Iseo. The enormous docks will surround a [small island on the water](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/isola-della-musica), named San Paolo. The installation will allow people to walk from Sulzano and take in the [immaculate sights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jinji-lake-pavilion) that can be seen from the pier, which includes views of the region and expansive mountain ranges.
