An intriguing piece of architecture that encompasses both intelligent design and complete creative freedom, the La Voute de Le Fevre piece is astounding.

Sculptural and voluminous, the project was created by designers Brandon Clifford and Wes McGee of matterdesign to demonstrate their range of skills and talent regarding interior architecture. Made out of hefty Baltic birch plywood, this [vaulted masterpiece](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/serpentine-bell) is quite permanent and immovable, yet looks as though it weighs next to nothing with a [lace-like detailing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cs-somme-cafe) and a multitude of [geometric cutouts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fractal-facade-house). It stretches across the ceiling like a spiderweb would fit between branches of a tree, arching elegantly and masterfully.

The La Voute de Le Fevre design seems to defy the laws of physics.
