# Optical Concept Chairs The Le Redonda Chair by Bodegón Cabinet Plays with Dimensions By Amy Duong | Published 2018-02-08 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-redonda-chair References: [design-milk](https://design-milk.com/the-la-redonda-chairs-design-plays-with-a-two-dimensional-circle/) & [bodegoncabinet](http://www.bodegoncabinet.com/wordpress/work/la-redonda/) Bodegón Cabinet designed the La Redonda Chair, which experiments with [two- and three-dimensional shapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zoom-chair). The geometrically structured chair takes the shape of a circle and molds it after being cut over a steel plating. The powder-coated steel piece then bends to be a structure of three-dimensions, taking up more space. The unique piece of furniture exhibits a simple concept but exudes complexity with the geometric relationships, distance and vanishing points. The Redonda Chair plays with what appears to be a flat shape because the furnishing changes depending on where it is in perspective. From a frontal view, the Redonda chair resembles a circle, but with rotation, it changes in [sculptural quality](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/palla). The unique Bodegón Cabinet designed chair is available on its online website.
