# Hole-in-One Furniture With the La Gota Table by Timothy Emmott, It's Always Tee Time By Meghan Young | Published 2010-04-10 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-gota-table References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2010/04/09/rubbish-table/) & [timothyemmott](http://www.timothyemmott.com/) Although I'm sure the La Gota Table was not made for golf fanatics, it surely will appeal to them. An ingeniously simple design that will keep your space tidier than ever, this table is equipped with a hollow leg fit for all your trash. Designed by Timothy Emmott, the La Gota Table is even more practical beyond its built-in garbage feature. If you take a look at the gallery above, you'll notice that the hole is surrounded by ripples. Those ripples ensure that anyting that doesn't belong in the hole won't mistakenly fall into it. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.7/10 - Popularity: 3% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Space-saving Furniture:** The La Gota Table's ingenious design offers a space-saving solution with its built-in garbage feature. - **Practical Design:** The La Gota Table's ripples around the hole prevent items from mistakenly falling into it, offering a practical solution. - **Multi-purpose Furniture:** The La Gota Table's hollow leg can be used as a trash can, making it a versatile piece of furniture. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** The La Gota Table can revolutionize interior design by providing innovative space-saving solutions. - **Home Furnishings:** The La Gota Table offers a practical and stylish option for home furnishings. - **Waste Management:** The La Gota Table's built-in garbage feature can disrupt waste management systems and promote efficient trash disposal. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Geometric Cutout Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/designated-table.md) - [Subtly Smart Dining Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/etto-table.md) - [Bag-Friendly Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dtn-table.md) - [Textile-Topped Table Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tumble-tables.md) - [Multi-Position Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drop-side-table.md) - [Topographical Recycled Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/two-coffee-tables.md) - [Chic Sustainable Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sustainable-side-table.md) - [Luxury Transparent Game Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/effetto-71-ping-pong-table.md) - [Wine-Catered Vibrant Artful Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-table.md)
