# Moveable Inflatable Architecture The La Bull d’Air Speaks to a Need for Nomadic Structures By Jamie Danielle Munro | Published 2014-09-30 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-bull-dair References: [designboom](http://www.designboom.com/architecture/collectif-de-la-meute-raumlabor-la-bull-d-air-inflatable-structure-france-09-28-2014/) & [raumlabor.net](http://raumlabor.net/) La Bull d’Air is a structure built in France by Collectif de la Meute and Raumlabor, which works with the idea of having a [nomadic lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-libreria), and what can be done to accommodate this way of living. The piece is meant to be partly an art installation, making people think about how housing has changed over the last century, and what ways architects can shape just how people choose to live their lives. One goal for the La Bull d’Air was to have something that was not overly ornate, but instead was very minimalist and had the ability to be moved about from place to place. This was certainly achieved by Collectif de la Meute and Raumlabor, as they did a good job exploring the ways a moveable structure could be built.
