# Compartmentalized Cheese Cases La Boite A Provides a Compact and Clever Way to Stash Your Cheddar By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-03-22 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-boite-a References: [germainbourre](http://www.germainbourre.com/design_produit/La_boite_A/277-La_boite_A_4) You might think of La Boite A as a treasure chest, intended specifically for storing a collection of your favorite hard dairy products. Germain Bourré's design consists of a square storage box with several cubby-like compartments of various sizes. Each one has a thick [wooden cheese board](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-serving-board) for a base that can slide out. This facilitates the convenient serving of your scrumptious collection. Your [goudas, camemberts and parmesans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/softripened-goat-cheese) can be slipped inside and protected behind a thin wooden cover. Carry La Boite A to a dinner party or a [wine and cheese soiree](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/valentines-cheese-boards) as a portable fromagerie. The crate has a handy strap on top for easy lifting; similarly, smaller tabs inside the case make retrieving the tasty treats a cinch. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 41% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Compact Cheese Storage:** The trend of compact cheese storage solutions offers opportunities for innovative designs that prioritize convenience and portability for cheese enthusiasts. - **Multi-compartment Cheese Cases:** The trend of multi-compartment cheese cases provides an organized and visually appealing way to store and display various types of cheeses, creating opportunities for customizable and versatile cheese storage solutions. - **Slide-out Cheese Boards:** The trend of slide-out cheese boards in cheese storage boxes presents an opportunity to enhance the serving experience by providing a convenient and practical way to serve and enjoy different types of cheeses. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Kitchenware:** The kitchenware industry can capitalize on the trend of compact cheese storage by developing innovative products that offer functional and space-saving solutions for storing and serving cheese. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can tap into the trend of multi-compartment cheese cases by creating aesthetically pleasing and customizable storage options that enhance the visual appeal of cheese displays in homes and restaurants. - **Gourmet Food and Beverages:** The gourmet food and beverages industry can leverage the trend of slide-out cheese boards by incorporating them into cheese gift sets or specialty cheese products, offering consumers a unique and convenient way to enjoy cheese. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Curated Cheese Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cheese-enthusiasts.md) - [Corrugated Cheese Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boxway.md) - [D2C Artisanal Cheese Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artisanal-cheese-boxes.md) - [Festive Pre-Made Cheese Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/classic-cheese-board.md) - [Subscription-Based Cheese Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balderson-village-cheese.md) - [Cheese-Infused Luxury Chocolates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/m-cacao-fromage-chocolate-collection.md) - [Adorable Luxurious Storage Compartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxurious-storage-compartment.md) - [Freshness-Enhancing Cheese Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sideopening-cheese-packs.md) - [Artsy Serving Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ecoresin-accented-cheese-and-charcuterie-serving-boards.md)
