With its fantastic crescent shape, it curves over one's head, providing great lighting for work or leisure. Created by the Hansandfranz design studio, the Kyudo floor lamp is neat and sleek. Interestingly, the lamp actually [slides out, extending over the head](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haworth) and retracting back for convenience and another aesthetic alternative. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 71% | Activity: 73% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Crescent-shaped Lighting:** The trend of using crescent-shaped lighting fixtures to provide unique and stylish lighting solutions. - **Suspended Lighting Alternatives:** The trend of using innovative floor lamp designs as an alternative to traditional suspended lighting. - **Convenient Retractable Lamps:** The trend of incorporating retractable features in lamps for added convenience and flexibility. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can explore the use of crescent-shaped lighting fixtures to create visually stunning and functional spaces. - **Lighting Design:** The lighting design industry can capitalize on the demand for suspended lighting alternatives by creating innovative and unique floor lamp designs. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** The furniture manufacturing industry can incorporate retractable features in lamps to offer customers more convenient and customizable lighting options. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Nature-Inspired Living Space Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonlight-floor-lamp.md) - [Mushroom-Inspired Sleek Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lunar-lamp-concept.md) - [Moon-Inspired Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lua.md) - [Sculptural Wooden Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-lamp.md) - [Textured Moon-Inspired Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-phase-lamp.md) - [Suspended Halo Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lamplox-minimalist-floor-lamp.md) - [Lantern-Like Light Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-kyeol-series.md) - [Daylight-Mimicking Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brighter-floor-lamp.md) - [Structural Two-Part Lighting Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luno-lamp.md)
