The new [recipe tool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/recipe-roulette) from the grocery retailer makes use of [artificial intelligence (AI)](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zesto-ai) along with [Twitter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aidriven-snack-product) in order to reach as many consumers as possible. Users only need to tweet a photo of three ingredients in their pantry or refrigerator to the @KrogerChefbot handle, which will then analyze the items before searching through the 20,000 recipes on Kroger.com to provide a suggestion. The Kroger Chefbot was explained further by VP of Marketing Mandy Rassi who said, "Last year, we launched Kroger's ‘Fresh for Everyone’ brand transformation campaign to underscore our commitment and belief that everyone should have access to fresh, affordable and delicious food. Chefbot is one of the ways we're delivering on that brand promise by making it even easier for our customers to achieve their meal aspirations, especially as the majority of shoppers are eating meals prepared at home multiple times a day during the pandemic." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 61% | Activity: 86% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Business](https://www.trendhunter.com/business) > [Retail](https://www.trendhunter.com/retail) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **AI-powered Recipe Chatbots:** AI-powered recipe chatbots are revolutionizing the way consumers find and create meals, reducing food waste and providing convenience. - **Intuitive Recipe Tools:** Intuitive recipe tools, such as the Kroger Chefbot, leverage AI and social media platforms to simplify meal planning and inspire creativity in the kitchen. - **Personalized Cooking Solutions:** Personalized cooking solutions like the Kroger Chefbot offer tailored recipe suggestions based on individual's available ingredients, catering to the unique needs and preferences of users. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Grocery Retail:** The grocery retail industry can leverage AI-powered recipe chatbots to enhance customer experience, increase engagement, and drive sales by providing consumers with convenient and personalized meal ideas. - **Food Tech:** The food tech industry can explore opportunities to integrate AI-powered chatbots and intuitive recipe tools into their platforms to offer innovative cooking experiences and solutions. - **Artificial Intelligence:** The artificial intelligence industry can develop advanced algorithms and data analysis techniques to improve the accuracy and efficiency of recipe suggestion chatbots, further enhancing the user experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [AI-Powered Recipe Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hellmanns-meal-reveal.md) - [AI-Powered Sous Chefs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/botatouille.md) - [AI-Powered Culinary Platforms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/be-my-chef.md) - [AI-Powered Meal Planning](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/recipelens-ai.md) - [Instant Recipe Generation Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-chef.md) - [AI Recipe Assistants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fridge-ai.md) - [Personalized Recipe Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mycookai.md) - [Recipe-Generating AI Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hellmanns.md) - [AI Recipe Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cookfast.md)
