Color is one of the best ways to brighten up a space, and the Krenit Bowl offers just the perfect amount of vibrancy. It balances its inner chromatic self with a [black exterior](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/le-creuset-nuit). That way, it can be playful and sophisticated at the same time.

Designed by civil engineer Herbert Krenchel back in 1953, the Krenit Bowl has been re-released to the delight of many. A slew of manufacturers have begun to revisit past designs in order to nostalgically entice new and returning customers.

The Krenit Bowl was originally made with an enamel interior in [eight colors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/le-creuset-rainbow-mug-set) and nine sizes. It is now now produced in steel with a melamine interior in five colors including white, black, turquoise, purple, lime and red.
