It explores the concept of space and what is found between the polarities. Notably, this marks the first time that the Argentenian-Spanish artist is showcasing an exhibition in the city. It also marks the first launch of the artist's SUBTRACTIVE VARIABILITY KOSMOS series. Gallery Director Aurora Fisher shares her viewpoints on the new installation, stating that “Given the history of art in Southern California, it’s only natural that Felipe’s first solo exhibition in Los Angeles not only puts [light and space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychoacoustic-light-ensemble) at the forefront, but genuinely breathes fresh life into movement via his distinctly modern approaches.” Image Credit: CONTROL Gallery ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 71% | Activity: 49% | Freshness: 14% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Space Art Installations:** The emergence of space art installations could spark new opportunities for artists to integrate technological advancements into traditional artistic mediums. - **Exploration-inspired Art Exhibitions:** With more artists showcasing works that explore the concept of space exploration, there are opportunities for galleries and museums to feature more forward-thinking, innovative exhibitions. - **Artist Technology Collaborations:** The emergence of technology-driven art installations could lead to more collaborations between artists and technologists in the creation of cutting-edge installations. ### Where This Applies - **Art Exhibitions:** Gallery owners and curators could find opportunities to showcase new and innovative works incorporating space-exploration themes. - **Technology and Art:** With the emergence of technological advancements in art, there are opportunities for companies developing new technologies to collaborate with artists in creating cutting-edge installations. - **Museums:** Museums could capitalize on the trend by creating exhibitions focused on space exploration and featuring works that explore the concept of space, technology, and art. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Color-Blending Kinetic Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/felipe-pantone.md) - [Tech-Forward Contemporary Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hofa-gallery.md) - [Cosmic-Themed Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cosmicthemed-art-exhibition.md) - [Collaborative Monochromatic Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collaborative-monochromatic-art-exhibition.md) - [Wonderous Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Mesmerizing Sculpture Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mesmerizing-sculpture.md) - [Psychedelic Sculptural Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frank-stella-recent-sculpture.md) - [Drone-Assisted Landscape Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/katsu-1.md) - [Human Connection-Themed Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/satellite-exhibition.md)
