The broad bathtub certainly commands the space in which it sits, acting as a [stand-alone plumbing fixture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bezel-collection) similar to a hot tub, and large enough to allow the whole of you to rest submerged. As a fully equipped jacuzzi, it has [built-in jets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kohler) that target specific acupuncture points to enhance the relaxing experience of having a soak. Instead of gazing into the whitewashed depths of your enameled bathtub, the Korra K-1083 Massage Tub features a [transparent blue acrylic basin](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delta-faucets) that fosters a feeling of openness and connectedness with the space of the bathroom around you. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.4/10 - Popularity: 61% | Activity: 64% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Transparent Bathtubs:** Opportunity for companies to create transparent bathtubs that offer a unique and immersive bathing experience. - **Acupuncture-targeting Jets:** Potential for businesses to incorporate built-in jets that target specific acupuncture points, enhancing the relaxation benefits of a bath. - **Open and Connected Bathrooms:** Innovation opportunities to design bathroom fixtures that foster a sense of openness and connectedness with the surrounding space. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Bathroom Fixture Manufacturing:** Manufacturers can explore new designs and materials to create transparent bathtubs and incorporate targeted jets for enhanced bathing experiences. - **Wellness and Spa:** Spas and wellness centers can offer unique bathing experiences by incorporating transparent bathtubs and acupuncture-targeting jets. - **Interior Design and Architecture:** Opportunity for interior designers and architects to create open and connected bathroom spaces that complement the trend of transparent bathtubs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sophisticated High-Design Bath Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soaking-tub.md) - [Customizable Minimalist Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acquabella-noon-slate.md) - [AI-Enhanced Contemporary Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloud-and-co.md) - [Japanese Snack Box-Inspired Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bento-starck-box.md) - [Rounded Hydromassage Tubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aretusa-tub-by-claudio-papa.md) - [Automated Relaxation Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-bathtub.md) - [Removable Bathtub Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bathtrope.md) - [Cedar Wood Soaking Tubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ofuro-bathtub.md) - [High-End Walk-In Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/american-standard.md)
