It is inspired by everyday beauty and comes in the form of five product series. This includes three [pendant light iterations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightmass), a floor light, and a table light. Notably, the [floor light has a modular design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kala-lamp), and the word 'kori' means 'basket' in Finnish. TAF Studio's Gabriella Lenke and Mattias Ståhlbom explain that “With Kori, we wanted to achieve an atmospheric and glare-free light with different models adjusted to different spaces and contexts. The diffuser around the light source became very central, and through lots of experiments with shades and reflecting parts the different characters in the family appeared.” Image Credit: TAF Studio ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 20% | Activity: 3% | Freshness: 15% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Contemporary Pendant Lights:** Designers are creating modern pendant lights with new materials and shapes. - **Modular Floor Lights:** Floor lights with modular designs are becoming popular in modern interior design. - **Glare-free Lighting:** Glare-free lighting is a growing trend for both residential and commercial spaces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Trends in contemporary pendant lights and modular floor lights provide opportunities for designers and manufacturers to create innovative and functional lighting solutions. - **Home Decor:** Glare-free lighting is a trend that can be applied to all areas of home decor, including lamps, chandeliers, and ceiling lights. - **Architecture:** The use of contemporary pendant and floor lights can provide disruptive innovation opportunities in architectural designs for both residential and commercial spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Origami-Inspired Suspended Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sora-pendant-light.md) - [Experimental Ancestral Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kawabi.md) - [Geometric Tonal Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terra-series.md) - [Organically Fluid Lighting Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pop-collection.md) - [Bakery-Inspired Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/croissant-pendant-light.md) - [American Oak Pendant Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-bean.md) - [Enchanting Hanging Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hf-series.md) - [Mouth-Blown Glass Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-pendant-light.md) - [Mixed Material Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gant-pendant-lights.md)
