The light is achieved using several elongated illuminator units that are connected in a seemingly randomized manner to cast light in several different directions. Each of the components are positioned on an axis point to allow them to be moved within a confined range of motion. This will enable the light to be customized to a wide range of different orientations and subsequently cast light in many ways. The 'KONNECT' pendant light accommodates preferences for randomized style or more formalized silhouettes, while also prioritizing continuous changes when desired. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.8/10 - Popularity: 8% | Activity: 2% | Freshness: 13% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Artistic Illuminators:** The trend of using artistic illuminators that mimic the appearance of other objects or materials offers opportunities for designers to create unique lighting solutions. - **Customizable Orientation:** The trend of creating pendant lights with customizable orientation offers opportunities for designers to create lighting solutions that can be adapted to a wide range of settings. - **Randomized Style:** The trend of accommodating preferences for randomized style or more formalized silhouettes offers opportunities for designers to create lighting solutions that cater to diverse aesthetic preferences. ### Where This Applies - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can benefit from these trends by integrating unique and customizable lighting solutions into their designs. - **Lighting Manufacturing:** The lighting manufacturing industry can benefit from these trends by developing innovative lighting solutions that cater to changing aesthetic preferences and can be customized to suit a wide range of settings. - **Architecture:** The architecture industry can benefit from these trends by incorporating customizable and unique lighting solutions into their building designs, creating visually stunning spaces while meeting functional lighting needs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Encapsulated Semi-Transparent Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nested-pendant-light.md) - [Mixed Material Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gant-pendant-lights.md) - [Domino-Inspired Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/domino-pendant.md) - [Hanging Connected Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-pendant-light.md) - [American Oak Pendant Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-bean.md) - [Dazzling Polyhedral Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puff-pendant-lights.md) - [Unconventional Modular Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luna-kaleido-series.md) - [Bakery-Inspired Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/croissant-pendant-light.md) - [Metaphorically Inspired Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bilanciato-pendants.md)
