This results in a top speed of 16 miles per hour, as the bike itself weighs roughly 74 pounds, not counting riders and additional payload. The motor is supplied by a 48-volt, 14 Ah battery pack that can power it for more than 50 miles per charge, which is more than enough range for a day full of mountain trails or city-wide errands.
