With this smart system in place, homeowners are able to enjoy peace of mind and experience fewer false alarms. Thanks to its exclusive UltraSense technology, the [outdoor home security camera](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/security-x1-pro) is capable of intelligently identifying objects in motion and sense unusual activity. Users will receive notifications for unusual events—but not something as harmless as leaves blowing across the lawn, which sometimes trips up other security cameras. Koda LightCam offers 1080p full HD resolution with night vision, settings that can be customized via the companion Koda app, as well as [visual and audible siren alerts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reolink-trackflex-floodlight-wifi) and two-way talk features. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 32% | Activity: 49% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Two-step Motion Detectors:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop advanced motion detection technology to minimize false alarms in outdoor home security cameras. - **Ultrasense Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create intelligent object recognition technology to sense unusual activity and send notifications for unusual events in smart home cameras. - **Smart Home Security Cameras:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design customizable, high-resolution, and night vision-enabled smart home security cameras with siren alerts and two-way talk features. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Security:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Innovate outdoor home security camera systems to provide enhanced protection and peace of mind to homeowners. - **Smart Home Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop advanced smart home technologies that incorporate motion detection, object recognition, and customizable features for secure and convenient living. - **Surveillance Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Revamp surveillance technology by integrating UltraSense motion detection, night vision, and two-way communication features for improved security measures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [AI-Powered Camera Alarm Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camera-alarm-systems.md) - [AI-Enabled Floodlight Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tplink-tapo-c720.md) - [AI-Enabled Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outdoor-security-camera-series-2.md) - [Movement-Analyzing Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ola-2-security-camera.md) - [Wireless Floodlight Camera Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blink-outdoor-4-floodlight-camera.md) - [All-in-One Security Camera Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wyze-cam-floodlight-v2.md) - [Dual-Lens Video Doorbells](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lindo-dualcam-video-doorbell-2k.md) - [Camera-Equipped Porch Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wired-wall-light-cam.md) - [Floodlight-Equipped Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eve-outdoor-cam.md)
