Some people truly never grow up, and it's items like the Knitted LEGO Doorstop that bring a youthful air to grown-up interiors.

Conceived by Instructables user lizzyastro, this [toy brick door prop](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/analog-lamps-1) takes a playful piece of childhood and magnifies it to the scale of the real world. The clever object gets its shape and weight from the combination of a regular masonry block and a pattern of eight plastic bottle caps. The lids are fastened in place to mimic the round bumps of [a genuine LEGO block](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/game-boy-set) before the entire base is form-fitted with a coat of red crocheted yarn.
