The success of these Kletskassa means that there will be hundreds more created across the country, as well as similar spaces. Additionally, Jumbo launched a chat corner where locals can gather with others to share conversations over a cup of coffee.

In an age of [self-serve and contactless checkouts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/self-checkout-lines), and curbside pickups, Jumbo's chat checkouts are helping to foster connection and fight loneliness in the elderly population. While many checkout technologies are designed to make service as fast and as streamlined as possible, this one differentiates itself by prioritizing heartfelt interaction.
