The space was once a ranch in the 1930s and what stands now is a luxurious home. Previously, it had issues including a closed kitchen, small spaces, small windows, and more. The new upgrades comprise a new layout with additional bedrooms and an interior courtyard. There is also a deck with a pool that overlooks the San Gabriel Mountains. The new kitchen has an angled form that opens up to the elevated living room. Additional updates include the [Italian marble countertops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/encino-home) and premium [Douglas FIt](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-apartment-interior) cabinets that have been custom-made. The flooring is made from white oak to brighten up the space.
