Klaus Enrique is a New York-based photographer who has created some pretty amazing works of art using [fruits, vegetables and flowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fresh-european-produce). Enrique was originally inspired to work with food after he photographed a human eye peeking out amongst a pile of leaves and realized that he could use the leaves to make a portrait that looked human.

While I'm sure [portraits made of leaves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gosh-food) would have looked awesome, I'm glad Enrique passed them up in favor of working with food. These images are stunning, especially the [profile made out of flowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-portraits). People often remark that art looks good enough to eat, and that statement has never been truer than when directed at the work of Klaus Enrique.
