# Camera Kitchen Accessories The f/60 Lens Kitchen Timer is Ideal for Shutterbug Chefs By Wes Walcott | Published 2012-09-08 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchen-timer-photography-lens References: [gizmodiva](http://www.gizmodiva.com/home_gadgets/the-f60-lens-kitchen-timer-a-must-have-for-photographers-who-love-to-cook.php/attachment/lens-timer-10) & [gama-go](http://www.gama-go.com/) With meticulous attention given to details, the f/60 Lens Kitchen Timer looks so much like an actual photography zoom lens you might actually feel compelled to try attaching it to your camera. However, unless you enjoy taking pictures of absolutely nothing, it’s much more functional as a reminder to let you know when your cookies are ready to come out of the oven. To use the timer, simply twist the coarse zoom ring on the lens to the appropriate number of minutes required to cook your culinary cuisine. It’s able to count down from a maximum of 60 minutes and is completely mechanical so you never have to worry about charging it or finding replacement batteries. The f/60 Lens Kitchen Timer is perfect for kitchen use, timer-related party games, or pretty much anything else that only takes an hour or less. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 64% | Activity: 54% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Camera-inspired Kitchen Accessories:** Create innovative kitchen gadgets that take design inspiration from photography equipment. - **Functional Timer Products:** Develop timers that serve as both practical kitchen tools and stylish home decor. - **Mechanical Kitchen Timers:** Design mechanical cooking timers that eliminate the need for batteries or charging. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Kitchenware:** Explore opportunities to introduce unique and visually appealing kitchen gadgets into the market. - **Home Decor:** Combine functionality and aesthetic appeal in home timers to cater to design-conscious consumers. - **Product Design:** Incorporate mechanical features into various products to eliminate the reliance on batteries or charging. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Triple-Recipe Cooking Timers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oxo-triple-kitchen-timer.md) - [Handsfree Kitchen Character Timers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/timer-bob.md) - [Variable Vintage Aesthetic Lenses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moment-tuner-by-module-8.md) - [Nostalgic 90s-Style Film Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/35mm-film-camera.md) - [Digitized Hourglass Productivity Timers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/focus-timer.md) - [Clock-Inspired Focus Timers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/project-igor.md) - [Hybrid Triple-Lens Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amkov-f3b.md) - [Flippable Cubic Timer Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ticktime-cube.md) - [Sleek Analog Film Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lomoapparat.md)
