The robot takes the shape of a [humanoid](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neo-gamma) that gets its name from sitting on a system of wheels that help it get around. Using a simple gesture, Rollin' Justin is able to carry out three types of household tasks: absorbing, collecting and skimming, which covers wiping down countertops, sopping up spilled liquids with a sponge, clearing crumbs from a surface or sweeping away broken dinnerware. In addition to being of use in a home's kitchen environment, these same actions are also of use for cleaning cars. The human form of this robot and the actions it is able to carry out make it seem familiar enough to become a staple within homes of the future. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 7% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/robots) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Smart Household Robots:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the development of versatile robots that can perform a range of household tasks. - **Robotic Cleaning Technology:** Innovative solutions for automated cleaning in both home and automotive industries. - **Humanoid Robot Assistants:** The advancement of robots with human-like capabilities to become integral parts of future homes and workplaces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Appliance:** Application of robotic technology in household cleaning appliances. - **Automotive:** Integration of robotic cleaning systems for vehicles. - **Robotics:** Development and manufacturing of versatile household and commercial robots. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Open-Source Housekeeping Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/housekeeping-robot.md) - [Multitasking Household Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/switchbot-ces-2025.md) - [Autonomous Carpet-Scrubbing Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/robot-carpet-cleaner.md) - [Humanoid Chore Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mindon-unitree-g1.md) - [Autonomous Home Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/memo-home-robot.md) - [Mini Desktop Vacuum Cleaners](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mopy.md) - [Dishwasher-Loading Humanoids](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/figure-02.md) - [AI-Powered Wheeled Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-2.md) - [Adaptive Automated Cleaning Device](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/automated-cleaning-device.md)
