The [cooking accessory](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kilne-1) is made from a [silicone gel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elio) that allows it to change shape and become more compact when not in use. When it's needed however, the kitchen funnel can expand to safely pour large amounts of liquid at a time into small openings. Zanwen Li's design works by simply pulling the bottom of the Flexi Funnel into the base, making it just half the size that it was before in a matter of seconds. Once it's in its compact form, the kitchen funnels can we used as a container to hold or pour liquids as well. The handy devices are offered in either bright orange or lime green. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.0/10 - Popularity: 96% | Activity: 77% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Modular Kitchen Accessories:** The 'Flexi Funnel' showcases the potential for modular kitchen accessories that can save space and offer versatile functionality. - **Space-saving Designs:** The retractable 'Flexi Funnel' demonstrates the growing trend of space-saving designs in kitchen gadgets. - **Multipurpose Kitchen Tools:** The 'Flexi Funnel' represents the rise of multipurpose kitchen tools that can adapt to different functions and reduce clutter. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Kitchenware Manufacturing:** Manufacturers in the kitchenware industry can explore opportunities in creating innovative and space-saving products like the 'Flexi Funnel'. - **Home Organization and Storage:** The retractable design of the 'Flexi Funnel' opens up potential for companies in the home organization and storage industry, offering solutions to optimize kitchen space. - **Sustainable Kitchen Gadgets:** The silicone gel material used in the 'Flexi Funnel' presents an opportunity for sustainable kitchen gadget manufacturers aiming to reduce waste and promote eco-friendly designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Multi-Functional Kitchen Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-kitchen-tools.md) - [Expandable Construction Cutting Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flexiboard.md) - [Portable Compact Kettles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-kettle.md) - [Versatile Kitchen Multi-Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchen-multitools.md) - [Multifunctional Sleek Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flex-furniture.md) - [Space-Conscious Kitchen Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnetic-kitchen-design.md) - [Single-Piece Silicone Measuring Cups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boi-measuring-cup.md) - [Multi-Functional Cook Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/this-cooking-appliance.md) - [Modular Multifunctional Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pronto-and-alto.md)
