As the world's population rises, particularly in areas that are already heavily populated, [tiny homes and small apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minuet) are quickly becoming the first option that people turn to when looking for an affordable place to live. This collection is made up of four different units -- each of which vary in size and function, but all of which were designed to fit small spaces. While the Affilato Hide and Ceragino units are both quite small and designed with minimalism in mind, the Kanade and Zan units are larger for people who require fully functioning kitchens. This modern black kitchen collection is ideal for individuals who need to optimize the space in their small homes. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.9/10 - Popularity: 83% | Activity: 87% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Compact Kitchen Units:** Designing compact kitchen units that optimize small spaces in homes - **Affordable Tiny Homes:** Building affordable tiny homes with functional and efficient kitchen units - **Minimalist Kitchen Design:** Incorporating minimalist kitchen design in compact living spaces to increase functionality ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Kitchen Appliance Manufacturing:** Manufacturing compact kitchen appliances designed for small living spaces - **Real Estate:** Building affordable housing units with optimized and functional kitchen spaces - **Home Decor and Design:** Incorporating minimalist kitchen design in home decor and interior design for small living spaces ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Space-Conscious Kitchen Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnetic-kitchen-design.md) - [Compact-Focused Kitchen Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soho-collections.md) - [Micro-Living Kitchen Appliance Hubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchen-appliance-hub.md) - [Compact Cookware Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kilne-1.md) - [Stackable Module Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/midea-stackit.md) - [Thoughtful Micro Studio Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-studio-apartment.md) - [Modern Compact Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-kitchen-appliances.md) - [Freestanding Experimental Kitchens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/experimental-kitchens.md) - [Cabinet-Style Kitchen Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/next125-pocket-system.md)
