# Pebble Lounge Chairs Kipu Club Outdoor Chair by Anderssen & Voll Has a Rounded Upholstered Form By Amy Duong | Published 2026-05-03 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kipu References: [lapalma.it](https://www.lapalma.it/en/families-outdoor/kipu/club%20ED07%20) The Kipu Club [outdoor chair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbit-outdoor-furniture) by [Anderssen & Voll](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arcata) extends the designers’ original pebble-like seating into a lounge format with an integrated backrest. The form builds on the Kipu pouffe collection, translating its soft, irregular geometry into a larger chair that maintains the same rounded silhouette. An upholstered ergonomic back wraps around the seat, designed to support and enclose the body while preserving the collection’s informal character. The chair is constructed with foam padding and fabric upholstery suited to both indoor and outdoor environments, offering removable covers for maintenance and flexibility in finishes. Its proportions create a low, grounded seating profile, with a wide base that reinforces stability and comfort. The design references smooth, river-worn stones, which continue the material and visual language established by the earlier Kipu pieces while adapting it into a standalone [lounge seating format](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pebble-sofa).
