# Artistic Wi-Fi Routers The Kinetic Wi-Fi Router Encourages Prominent Placement By Justin Lam | Published 2018-11-09 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kinetic-wifi-router References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2018/11/08/this-kinetic-sculpture-is-also-a-wi-fi-router/) & [behance.net](https://www.behance.net/gallery/71749949/Kinetic-Wi-Fi-Router) Wi-fi routers generally all feature similar boxy designs, but the [Kinetic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kinetic-series-chassis) Wi-fi router by JeonHwan Sohn showcases how art and technology can beautifully collide. Equipped with multiple [swiveling antennae](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/conecto-air-perfume), the Kinetic Wi-fi router manages to visually display itself working in a way that is captivating and entertaining. The swiveling arms will only move when the router receives a connection and will completely stop when connection or direct power is lost. This feature is partly what makes the router so unique, as it provides a visual aid to showcase the functionality of the device. The design of the router also encourages owners to place the device in full visibility as it resembles an [elegant structure](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sonique) more than a basic piece of tech. Placement in more visible areas also ensures the router provides a stronger wi-fi signal as it isn't obstructed by walls or large pieces of furniture.
