The visually arresting piece was made by placing two flat screen monitors back-to-back, before spinning them at incredibly high speeds. The speed and frequency of motion resulted in hovering, [three-dimensional light forms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shen-sculpture) that made up the "sculptures." Instead of relying on the usual frame of the flat screen, Muzzin was interested in using it to give "animations volume in space." His exploration of the third dimension creates a dizzying visual installation. He explains, "Due to the persistence of vision, the shapes that appear on the screen turn into kinetic light sculptures." Viewers will be instantly mesmerized, and perhaps even hypnotized, by these kinetic patterns. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 52% | Activity: 81% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Bizarre](https://www.trendhunter.com/bizarre) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Kinetic Light Sculptures:** Opportunity for creating immersive and interactive art installations using kinetic light sculptures. - **Motion-based Art Installations:** Potential for incorporating high-speed spinning motion to create visually striking art installations. - **Exploration of the Third Dimension:** Opportunity to experiment with using animations to give volume and depth to visual art forms. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art and Design:** Innovative artists and designers can utilize kinetic light sculptures to create captivating installations. - **Event Planning and Entertainment:** Opportunity to incorporate kinetic light sculptures into event planning and entertainment experiences. - **Advertising and Marketing:** Potential for using kinetic light sculptures to create attention-grabbing advertising campaigns. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Physics-Informed Digital Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/motion-sculpture.md) - [Color-Blending Kinetic Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/felipe-pantone.md) - [Fluid Function Art Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/optical-flow.md) - [Sculpted Rhythm Forms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-kinetic-collection.md) - [3D-Printed Flip Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stl-sculptures.md) - [Revolving Bright Kinetic Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/library-of-light.md) - [Math-Driven Lighting Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alba-light.md) - [Interactive Kinetic Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interactive-kinetic-sculptures.md) - [Sci-Fi-Inspired Dynamic Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacetime-transformation-lamp.md)
