Announced last year, the aptly titled 'Selfish' photo book features a very voluptuous image of the [reality TV star](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kim-kardashian-fortnite). Although people have come to know her for her curves, she has become particularly well-known for her butt. Yet in a somewhat surprising move, the Kim Kardashian selfie book cover focuses largely on her chest. Raw yet posed, the Kim Kardashian selfie book cover shows the [social media queen](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skkn-by-kim-holiday-collection) doing her thing in the most authentic way possible. It will certainly intrigue people in regards to what they might find beyond that initial image. 'Selfish' will "“share a decade of selfies in an intimate and artistic way," says Kardaishan. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.9/10 - Popularity: 100% | Activity: 100% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Celebs](https://www.trendhunter.com/celebs) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Celebrity Selfie Books:** The popularity of Kim Kardashian's selfie book creates a trend for celebrities to release their own artistic photo books. - **Focus on Body Image:** The controversy over the Kim Kardashian selfie book cover highlights a trend in the media to focus on and critique celebrity body images. - **Authentic Celebrity Content:** The success of Kim Kardashian's selfie book reflects a trend in the media towards authentic and unfiltered celebrity content. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Publishing Industry:** The trend of celebrity photo books creates opportunities for publishing companies to produce and distribute similar products. - **Social Media Industry:** The trend towards authentic celebrity content creates opportunities for social media platforms that prioritize unfiltered user-generated content. - **Fashion and Beauty Industry:** The focus on celebrity body images in the media highlights an opportunity for the fashion and beauty industry to promote body positivity and diversity. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Celebrity Swimwear Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swim-line.md) - [Unretouched Photography Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dove-reimagine-beauty.md) - [Unique Artistic Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amusebouche.md) - [Seductive Winter Loungewear Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/winter-heat-collection.md) - [Nostalgic Winter Intimates Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skims-holiday-campaign.md) - [Hipster Era Photography Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cobrasnake-y2ks-archive.md) - [Faux-Piercing Push-Up Garments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nipple-pushup-bra.md) - [Celebrity-Endorsed Pill Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beats-x-kim.md) - [Concrete Hand-Poured Home Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skkn-by-kim-2.md)
