Chris Jordan has done it again by creating [art with a message](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pointillism)... using a medium that is part of the message? Yeah, I don't know how to really describe the use of [cigarette packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/und) as a medium to create art. All I know is that it's uber cool.

The piece was inspired by the master Van Gogh's *Skull with a Burning Cigarette.*The painting is 98 inches by 72 inches.

**Implications** - One of the best ways a PSA or non-profit company can get a message about the dangers of a certain activity across is by investing in [avant-garde advertising](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/burnable-billboard) that shows the actual human loss of the behavior. By eschewing the newfound PSA movement of featuring humor in a humorless situation, the company stands a good chance of embedding fear in the minds of consumers.
