The chair starts off with a series of black legs that support eight interchangeable pieces in the upper section. Each of the pieces are differently colored with a total of eight in all to give the furniture piece a rainbow-inspired design. The colored segments can be used in different orientations to have the furniture piece function as a chair, an activity station or even a desk. The conceptual 'Kidzilla' chair features a lightweight construction that's free of sharp edges to make it well-suited for children to interact with. The stark black frame helps the rainbow-hued pieces to shine more vibrantly. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 95% | Activity: 56% | Freshness: 12% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Modular Child-friendly Furniture:** Opportunity to design customizable, multi-functional and user-friendly furniture solutions for children. - **Interchangeable Furniture Modules:** Opportunity to create furniture pieces that can be easily assembled, disassembled, and reassembled in a variety of configurations. - **Rainbow-inspired Furniture Design:** Opportunity to incorporate vibrant colors and non-traditional shapes into furniture designs. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Opportunity to innovate by creating child-friendly, modular and customizable furniture. - **Playroom Design:** Opportunity to create playrooms that are aesthetically pleasing and provide children with a variety of activities. - **Education Furniture Design:** Opportunity to create furniture that can be used as a teaching tool in classrooms and learning spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Development Childhood Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/table-and-chair-set.md) - [Transforming Child Stool Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flipflap-childrens-chair.md) - [Moon-Inspired Modular Seating Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wigiwama.md) - [Eco-Friendly Ergonomic Child Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plogic-chair.md) - [Flatpack Ultra-Modular Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nebula-chair.md) - [Transforming Imaginative Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kiddie-couch.md) - [Modular Upholstered Bright Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flipster.md) - [Puzzle-Inspired Kids Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/palipeli.md) - [Play-Friendly Furniture Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/my-nook-modular-furniture-system.md)
