# Instrument-Inspired Key Holders The Piano Key Hook is a Cute Way to Hang Your Belongings By Jamie Danielle Munro | Published 2014-04-01 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/key-hook References: [spicytec](http://www.spicytec.com/2014/03/piano-key-hook.html) & [naiise](http://naiise.com/products/piano-key-hook) Hanging one's keys up upon getting in the door is ideal for remembering where they are, and with the Piano Key Hook users can avoid being late for work and also hang their belongings in style. The [key hook](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/velto) can be attached to the wall (ideally by the door), and it looks exactly like the [keys of a piano](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/piano-widget). If you have any [musicians in the house](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-midi-controller), this small house decor add-on would be extremely fitting. The black and white design also ensures there are no bright colors to clash with the pre-existing hues, which helps to not limit who can purchase this household item. For anyone constantly forgetting where they put their keys, the Piano Key Hook should help shave some minutes off your morning routine. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 56% | Activity: 12% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Cute Key Holders:** Opportunity for companies to create unique and aesthetic key holders that add style to home decor. - **Musically-inspired Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to develop home decor items that cater to musicians and music lovers. - **Functional Wall Decor:** Market potential for wall decor products that offer both functionality and aesthetic appeal. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can capitalize on the demand for unique and trendy key holders. - **Musical Accessories:** Companies specializing in musical accessories can expand their product offerings to include musically-inspired home decor items. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers and firms can integrate key holders with functional wall decor to enhance the visual appeal of spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Smiley Clothing Wall Hooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/itsahook.md) - [Jewelry-Like Handbag Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elegant-hook-options.md) - [Guitar-Holding Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/guitarholding-bench.md) - [Hexagonal Music Composition Keyboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/music-composition-keyboard.md) - [Compact Key Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miniki.md) - [Digital HD Display Pianos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mozart-console-piano.md) - [Musical Instrument Pet Feeders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-piano.md) - [Quirky Structural Clothes Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hang-we.md) - [Rotating Punctuation Mark Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emotion-hanger.md)
