The kettle has a sculpted design that makes it look similar in size and shape to a dove, which is further enhanced with a dual-sided aesthetic. The unit can thus be filled with water one one side before boiling, while the other side acts as the dispenser for easily pouring out hot water for coffee or tea. The 'Dove' kettle concept is the design work of Hakan Gürsu of Designnobis and is the winner of the bronze award at the International Design Awards for 2019. The kettle is conceptualized with a stainless steel body that's further accented with silicone finishings. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 58% | Activity: 31% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Avian-inspired Design:** Opportunity for creating functional and aesthetically unique products inspired by birds. - **Quirky Kitchen Appliances:** Disruptive innovation potential in developing playful and unconventional kitchen equipment. - **Dual-functionality Products:** Opportunity for designing products that serve multiple purposes or have dual-sided features. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Kitchen Appliance Manufacturing:** Manufacturers can explore designing and producing avant-garde kitchen appliances inspired by unconventional concepts. - **Home Decor and Interior Design:** Home decor industry can tap into the growing demand for unique, bird-inspired designs to create visually appealing living spaces. - **Product Design and Engineering:** Opportunity for product designers and engineers to explore innovative solutions that combine functionality with standout aesthetics. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimal Roman-Inspired Electric Kettles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hygge.md) - [Style-Conscious Coffee Kettles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artisan-gooseneck-kettle.md) - [Tea Vessel-Inspired Kettles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonkettle.md) - [Minimal Metallic Stealthy Kettles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aarke-kettle.md) - [Modern Electric Kettles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gooseneck-kettles.md) - [Exclusive Modern Electric Kettles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-electric-kettle.md) - [Aesthetic Electric Kettles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corvo-electric-kettle.md) - [Adjustable Temperature Kettles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/o-kettle.md) - [Stacked Tea Kettle Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stacked-tea-kettle.md)
