The system works by utilizing '[Smart Vents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-climate-control)' and 'Temp Sensors' to effectively keep track of every room in the house rather than just the immediate area around the thermostat. This will help the system to push warm or cool air into the rooms that are used the most or to make adjustments if one room isn't at the right temperature at any point throughout the day. The Keen Home Zoning System also enables users to make custom adjustments regarding the [temperature in each room](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nest-learning-thermostat) to ensure everyone in the building is as comfortable as possible. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 74% | Activity: 75% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Smart Home Zoning Systems:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in creating advanced systems to regulate airflow and temperature in each room of a living space. - **Intelligent Ventilation Systems:** Potential for disruptive innovation in developing ventilation systems that can adapt to individual room conditions and optimize airflow. - **Customized Room Temperature Control:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in designing solutions that allow users to personalize the temperature in each room for maximum comfort. ### Where This Applies - **Home Automation:** Potential for disruptive innovation in the home automation industry to create advanced systems that intelligently regulate temperature and airflow in every room. - **HVAC (heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning):** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the HVAC industry by developing intelligent ventilation systems that optimize airflow based on individual room conditions. - **Smart Thermostat Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for manufacturers of smart thermostats to create products that enable customized temperature control for each room. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Motion-Sensing Thermostat Sensors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wyze-room-sensor.md) - [Connected Aftermarket AC Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sensibo-airq.md) - [Tech-Driven Home Climate Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-climate-systems.md) - [Space-Conscious Air Conditioners](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comfyair.md) - [Proactive Smart Thermostats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/proactive-smart-thermostat.md) - [Aftermarket AC Controller Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boldr-klima-smart-ac-controller.md) - [Hexagonal Ceiling Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airhive.md) - [AI-Powered Home Thermostats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beca-bht-18gblw.md) - [Targeted Cooling AC Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-artcool-ai-air.md)
