Master knitters in Scotland used a double-sided knitting technique to make each blanket. A birds-eye pattern can be seen on one side of the blanket, while the KAWS artwork decorates the other. Each blanket is smooth to the touch, giving it a sumptuous, heavyweight feel. “This limited edition cashmere blanket produced exclusively for House of Voltaire – the art and design shop within London’s celebrated Studio Voltaire – encapsulates the very best of KAWS’ pervasive oeuvre, transposing the well-known character Mickey Mouse into a 21st-century context,” KAWS commented on the release.
