The rugged [water bottle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bottle-bottle) meticulously removes debris, bacteria and viruses to provide you with clean drinking water. All you have to do is find a water source to enjoy a refreshing drink. The entire filtering process is done without any pumping or batteries so you can save your energy for further adventuring. The Katadyn MyBottle [removes any particles from the water](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spout-water) using a 3-phase system. A cyst filter begins by removing any microbial cysts from the liquid. A 'Virustat' cartridge then takes care of any viruses, bacteria and protozoa. A final carbon postfilter removes any remaining impurities to give you the best water possible. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 66% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Health](https://www.trendhunter.com/health) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Adventure-friendly Water Purifiers:** Water purifiers for adventure enthusiasts are becoming more rugged and portable, providing opportunities for companies to develop innovative products that cater to the needs of outdoor enthusiasts. - **Non-pumping Water Filtration Systems:** Innovative filtration systems that require no pumping or electricity are becoming more popular, providing opportunities for companies to create efficient and eco-friendly filtration systems for outdoor and emergency use. - **Multi-stage Water Filtration:** Multi-stage water filters that remove impurities such as bacteria and viruses are becoming more mainstream, opening up opportunities for companies to create highly efficient water filtration systems for a variety of settings. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Outdoor Equipment:** Manufacturers of outdoor equipment can take advantage of the growing trend towards adventure-friendly water purifiers by creating portable and durable products that cater to the needs of outdoor enthusiasts. - **Emergency Preparedness:** With the rise of non-pumping water filtration systems, companies that specialize in emergency preparedness can develop efficient and eco-friendly filtration systems that provide clean water in times of crisis. - **Travel and Tourism:** Travel and tourism companies can take advantage of multi-stage water filtration systems by providing their customers with high-quality water during their adventures, thereby increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Five-in-One Water Filter Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vitaloop-water-filtration-bottle.md) - [Speedy Water Purification Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grayl-ultrapress.md) - [Compatibly Compact Water Filters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-water-filter.md) - [Collapsible Water Filtration Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/filtration-bottles.md) - [Travel-Friendly Water Purification Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lifestraw-peak-series.md) - [Titanium-Made Water Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grayl-ultrapress-titanium-purifier.md) - [Bacteria-Killing Water Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uvc-selfcleaning-water-bottle.md) - [Water Purifier Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ladislamp-disinfection.md) - [Portable Water Filtration Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-water-filtration-system.md)
