Michel Ducaroy takes on a [reissued design project](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/karimoku-1) for [Ligne Roset](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/togo) which takes the classic Kashima sofa originally created in 1976 and alters it with a more modern angle. The Kashima sofa has been known to be the 'comfortable Chesterfield' because of its [quilted texture design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/butter-sofa) and it even has a buttoned backrest borrowed from the traditional English sofa.

The construction fully uses foam materials and it comes in four different densities of foam -- all of these are clad in a polyester quilting for a soft touch. According to the brand, this is the most elaborate fully foam sofa in the series as the nest-like seating and high density of the foam have a long life.
