I don't what shocked me more, photographer Karin Anna Henny Ångström Ludwig's very long name or her ability to make normally disturbing images radiate with beauty.

Karin Anna Henny Ångström Ludwig's images include animal skulls sitting atop the fur that used to cover them. There are [dead chickens and raw fish](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/still-life-1) positioned ever so carefully amongst [bouquets of flowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kill-them-with-kindness). I love her work, but I'd hate to have a look inside of her [refrigerator](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lynzi-judish-fridgescaping).

**Implications** - Consumers are looking for more shocking and disturbing images that get them talking about what they are seeing. Buyers are no longer satisfied with seeing pretty images, instead future buyers' markets are going to see a shift in this more subversive and talked-about design aesthetic. Businesses should include themselves in this desire to show off this aesthetic in order to align themselves with their clientele.
