The exhibition features a collection of bulging, [inflated chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/johannes-faurebrac) and an interactive shelter that allows visitors to take refuge inside the tent-like structure. Taking inspiration from a sandbag-like fortress, the structure blurs the boundaries between [architecture and design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/time-signature). The entire installation is a caramel-colored, layered shelter bound together by red straps, built with a 220 meter inflatable tube that was layered on top of each other. Inside the structure are layers of blankets to allow visitors to pop their heads in the many openings or go in to simply hang out. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 55% | Activity: 23% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Interactive Installation Experiences:** Opportunity to create immersive and engaging installations that allow visitors to interact and experience the space in unique ways. - **Innovative Furniture Designs:** Potential for designing furniture that incorporates inflatable elements to provide a flexible and playful experience for users. - **Blurry Boundaries Between Architecture and Design:** Chance to explore designs that challenge traditional definitions of architecture and design, creating structures that seamlessly merge the two disciplines. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Design:** Incorporating inflatable elements in furniture design can create new opportunities for creative and functional designs. - **Event Experiences:** Creating interactive installations for events can enhance participant engagement and leave a lasting impression. - **Architecture:** Exploring the integration of inflatable structures in architectural designs can lead to innovative and dynamic buildings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Inflatable Colorful Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/squeeze-inflatable-lamp.md) - [Modular Inflatable Gear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/conqueror-inflatable.md) - [Inflated Design Classroom Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intermittent-dome.md) - [Balloon-Like Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seungjin-yang.md) - [Inflated Design Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-as-a-main-material.md) - [Sizable Chair Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chair-installation.md) - [Inflatable House-Shaped Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-architecture-inflatable-tent.md) - [Inflatable Mood Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blow-lamp.md) - [Automatic Self-Inflating Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfinflating-furniture.md)
