As though inspired by a large lily, its soft curve and subtle fold also brings a soothing, serene sense, transforming this place of sanctuary into a [spa experience](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oasis-collection-1). Designed by Oriano Favaretto and manufactured by Mastella Design, an Italian family-run company, the Kalla [Washbasin is elegant and whimsical](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/handchiseled-marble-basin). In fact, it looks like something that would be found in a forest nymph's home. The Kalla Washbasin is much more manageable for a private household, whereas the larger one would work better in [public washrooms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archiplan-compact-basin-collection). The Kalla Washbasic was presented at this year’s ISH Frankfurt tradeshow. It is made out of a single piece of Cristalplant. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.9/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 3% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Nature-inspired Home Decor:** Opportunities exist for designers to explore other home decor items that draw inspiration from nature to create a serene home environment. - **Whimsical Bathroom Fixtures:** Innovative designers can create unique bathroom fixtures that add a touch of whimsy to mundane spaces. - **Single-piece Furniture:** Manufacturers can explore the use of single-piece materials to create unique furniture designs that stand out in the market. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** New trends in nature-inspired home decor offer opportunities in interior design for designers to create unique home environments. - **Bathroom Fixtures:** Whimsical bathroom fixtures offer opportunities for manufacturers to create unique products that add a touch of playfulness to bathroom spaces. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Single-piece furniture offers opportunities for manufacturers to create unique furniture designs that are both functional and visually appealing. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Textural Bathroom Sink Basins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/washbasin-collection.md) - [Angular Ceramic Sink Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/angle-washbasin.md) - [Playful Concrete Wash Basins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kast-wave-collection.md) - [Ultra-Modern Freestanding Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freestanding-sink.md) - [Water Flow-Inspired Kiln Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/volta-collection.md) - [Forest Walk-Inspired Bathroom Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antao.md) - [Marble Slab Washbasins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/piano-washbasin.md) - [Illuminated Base Bathroom Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antoniolupi-albumelux.md) - [Electric Kiln-Made Unique Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/volta-1.md)
