Boasting a palette of bold and vivid hues, these [kaleidoscopic color studies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorscape-installation) feature a creamy and opaque aesthetic that appears vague and blurred to a viewer. These striking art pieces by Kal Mansur feature [abstracted linear shapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mathematically-shaped) that appear layered an distant thanks to the artist's blurred and overlapped image aesthetic. Described as "soft voids scaled down to the touch", these [painting inspired sculpture creations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/afterglow-1) appear to have been formed organically and without an artist's hand. The eye-catching art pieces are not only striking as a series but are equally as powerful and ethereal when standing alone as sole works. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 39% | Activity: 14% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Live Arts](https://www.trendhunter.com/livearts) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Watercolor-inspired Sculptures:** Opportunity for artists to merge painting and sculpture in a unique and abstract way. - **Blurred and Layered Aesthetic:** Potential for artists to experiment with visual depth and perception in their artwork. - **Organic-formed Sculptures:** Possibility for artists to create pieces that resemble natural forms and evoke a sense of harmony. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Design:** Artists can explore new techniques and mediums to create innovative and visually captivating artwork. - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for designers to incorporate watercolor-inspired sculptures in interior design to add a touch of uniqueness and serenity. - **Galleries and Exhibitions:** Curators can showcase these innovative sculptures in art galleries to attract art enthusiasts and collectors. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Human Embraced-Inspired Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallmounted-sculpture.md) - [Mesmerizing Sand Pattern Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crystal-sandsara.md) - [Emotional Light Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miror-collection.md) - [Campus-Based Cylindrical Glass Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mirage.md) - [Vibrantly Colorful Dynamic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kayla-rumpp.md) - [Gem-Like Sculptural Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cylindrical-lenses.md) - [Wonderous Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Mesmerizing Sculpture Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mesmerizing-sculpture.md) - [Colorful Texture Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorscape-installation.md)
