Not only does it provide comfort, it also features an aesthetically pleasing look with its [curved, undulating form](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rondin). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 7% | Activity: 29% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Mixed Blessing Benches:** Designing benches with innovative features can create new comfort levels but also potential misuse in urban areas. - **Aesthetically Pleasing Street Furniture:** Creating street furniture with visually appealing designs can enhance the overall look and feel of urban spaces. - **Comfort-enhancing Outdoor Seating:** Developing outdoor seating options that prioritize comfort can attract more people to public spaces. ### Where This Applies - **Urban Furniture:** The urban furniture industry can explore designing benches with innovative features to meet the evolving needs of urban dwellers. - **Public Space Design:** Experts in public space design can focus on creating visually pleasing street furniture that enhances the overall aesthetic appeal of urban areas. - **Outdoor Hospitality:** The outdoor hospitality industry can benefit from developing comfortable outdoor seating options to provide a more enjoyable experience for customers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bike-Friendly Outdoor Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinajarro-bench.md) - [Repurposed Brick Public Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brick-public-furniture.md) - [Modular Outdoor Space Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mass-public-bench.md) - [Outdoor Scandinavian Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bste-lounge-chair.md) - [Threshold Bench Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/torii.md) - [Interaction-Promoting Public Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bench-seating.md) - [Elegantly Airy Outdoor Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arch-bench.md) - [Modern Cushioned Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pod-outdoor-seating.md) - [Inclusive Modular Cityscape Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/urban-bench.md)
