Made predominantly out of [walnut wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collective-collection), each piece in the furniture line is warm and welcoming even though the lines are very clean-cut and sophisticated, details that are often found in colder, minimalist designs. The added deer decor ensures that the natural aesthetic is not lost in the otherwise modern interpretations. Designed by Vicenza-based Joe Velluto of JVLT, the Jules et Jim collection is comprised of a nightstand, bed, dresser and wardrobe. The collection, which was presented during the 2012 [Milan Furniture Fair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avant-and-varenna), is "warm and soft like a hug, solid as a faithful relationship," according to the designer. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 62% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Modern Rustic Furniture:** There is a growing demand for modern furniture that incorporates rustic elements. - **Warm Minimalist Design:** Minimalist design is no longer associated with coldness, there is a desire for warm, cozy, minimalist designs. - **Nature-inspired Decor:** There is a trend towards incorporating natural elements, such as deer decor, into modern home decor. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Manufacturing:** There is an opportunity for furniture manufacturers to incorporate rustic elements into modern furniture designs, creating a new category of furniture. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can offer clients warm, cozy, minimalist designs that incorporate natural elements for a unique and modern look. - **Home Decor Retail:** Home decor retailers can stock nature-inspired decor items, such as deer decor, to cater to the growing demand for natural elements in modern home decor. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimalist Bedroom Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/john-pawson-x-tekla.md) - [Naturalistic Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/back-to-nature-collection.md) - [Inaugural Stylish Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stylish-furniture-collection.md) - [Whimsical Kids Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moss-collection.md) - [Modern Oak Furniture Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oak-storage.md) - [Contemporary Collaborative Luxe Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ann-demeulemeesterserax.md) - [Modular Bedroom Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/endy-bedroom-collection.md) - [Sculptural Geometric Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/liz-collection.md) - [Ultra-Modern Furniture Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inaugural-outdoor-furniture-collection.md)
