The Juice Booster phone-to-phone charger works with [micro USB devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nomad-chargekey-v2) in a very simple way: just connect one device to another and you'll be borrowing (or stealing, depending on how you see it) a little power instantly. The small footprint of the Juice Booster mean it can be placed on your [keychain](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/keychain-apple-watch-charger) to instantly either take or give power from or to friends. Naturally, the Juice Booster is designed to share just enough power to keep you going long enough to get home, so don't go stealing all the power from friends. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 63% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Phone-to-phone-charging:** Opportunity for companies to provide charging solutions that are convenient and independent of power outlets. - **Personal Power Sharing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for the development of power-sharing platforms to connect people with a network of trusted friends worldwide. - **Keychain Power Banks:** Opportunity for companies to design small and portable power banks that can be attached to a keychain and are easy to use on-the-go. ### Who This Affects Most - **Mobile Devices:** Mobile device manufacturers may develop keychain power banks to increase consumer convenience and device usage time. - **Travel and Tourism:** Travel companies could develop a personal power-sharing platform that allows tourists to connect with locals to keep their devices charged while exploring a new place. - **Hospitality:** Hotels and other hospitality providers can offer phone-to-phone charging solutions to their guests to improve convenience and provide a unique experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Grip-Enhancing Smartphone Batteries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/popsockets-popgrip-jumpstart-lightning.md) - [Branded Charging Can Sleeves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/juice-boost-charging-can-sleeve.md) - [Intentional Disconnection Device Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/share-power.md) - [Rapid Phone Charging Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swapperys-external-smartphone-battery.md) - [Data-Backup Phone Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qubii-power.md) - [Frozen Treat Power Banks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/popsic-charger.md) - [Patch-Style Smartphone Power Packs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/battery-pods.md) - [Three-in-One Smartphone Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chargepuck.md) - [Durable Device Connection Keychains](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-nomad-chargekey.md)
