[Spanish artist](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/racesroots) Juan Francisco Casas seems to capture sensual moments in his art as women are drawn in provocative poses. **Implications** - It's really incredible that Juan Francisco Casas is able to create such lifelike portraits with only a pen. Normally when I doodle with a pen I just produce aimless drawings, so I'm especially impressed with his work. Just imagine having every mistake be fatal to the drawing as a whole. That's a lot of pressure! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 84% | Activity: 44% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Naughty](https://www.trendhunter.com/naughty) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Realistic Pen Portraits:** Artists using pen to create realistic portraits. - **Ballpoint Pen Art:** Emergence of artists utilizing ballpoint pens in their artwork. - **Sensual Artistic Portrayals:** Artworks capturing sensual moments and provocative poses. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Design:** Opportunity for artists to explore new mediums and techniques. - **Stationery:** Increased demand for specialized and high-quality ballpoint pens. - **Gallery and Exhibition:** Rising interest in showcasing and collecting realistic pen portraits. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Reimagined Puzzled Artful Paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portrait-of-a-woman-in-a-hat.md) - [Artist-Inspired Fountain Pens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artistinspired-fountain-pens.md) - [Oil Painting-Inspired Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antonio-santn.md) - [Sculpturally Provocative Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vibrant-sculptural-vase.md) - [Robotic Portrait Sketches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pankraz-piktograph.md) - [Realistic Sketch-Reflective Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawing-series.md) - [Whimsical Character Ceramics Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/danza-collection.md) - [Glamorous Artful Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-jane.md) - [Miniature Artful Hip-Hop Landmarks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/danny-cortes.md)
