The 2-in-1 creation by Joven De La Vega seems pretty simple. I’m not entirely sure how comfortable the desk design would be, but the looks are dark black, sleek, and modern. At the very least, if you live in a small space and need [multi-functional furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/expand-furniture), this seems like a good design. Take a look at the Joven De La Vega creation in the gallery above. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.0/10 - Popularity: 35% | Activity: 76% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Flip-over Furniture:** Creating furniture that can serve multiple purposes, like Joven De La Vega's 2-in-1 chair desk. - **Space-saving Designs:** Designing furniture that is compact and functional in small spaces, like Joven De La Vega's 2-in-1 chair desk. - **Modular Furniture:** Incorporating modular design into furniture, allowing for versatility and adaptability, like the flip-over function of Joven De La Vega's chair desk. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Industry:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for furniture companies to focus on space-saving designs and modular furniture options to cater to small space living. - **Home Office Supplies Industry:** Opportunity to create space-saving and multi-functional office supplies, like Joven De La Vega's 2-in-1 chair desk, for those working from home in small spaces. - **Interior Design Industry:** Opportunity for designers to incorporate and promote space-saving and modular furniture designs, like Joven De La Vega's 2-in-1 chair desk, for small apartments and homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ultra-Simple Multifunctional Furniture Pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chairpf.md) - [Transforming Child Stool Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flipflap-childrens-chair.md) - [Modular Upholstered Bright Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flipster.md) - [Adventurous Versatile Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flipster-seat.md) - [Humorous Quick Cleanup Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flip-desk-concept.md) - [Colorful School Desk Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clever-school-desk1.md) - [Sculptural Wall Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-wall-desk.md) - [Space-Saving Foldable Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-desk1.md) - [Ergonomic Multi-Use Desk Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kabinett-desk.md)
