Goan furniture imprint Josmo has opened up a [flagship store](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stocker-lee-architetti) located in Mumbai and it was designed by its own founder Anjali Mody. The design notion was to create a contemporary approach to 'Indian design craft.' The store is one of the first locations outside of Goa, which is where it was founded in 2010.

Mody designed the [retail space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boss-boutique) in a way that aligns with a brand style that she has described to be "witty, elegant and unapologetically unique." She explains to Dezeen, "We wanted it to feel like stepping into a world where every detail whispers Josmo. Think sculptural forms, [earthy textures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/estilio) and just the right amount of drama. It's warm, immersive and bold – a space where every piece tells its own story but still feels part of a bigger narrative."
