The Josep Abril Spring/Summer 2015 collection was unveiled during 080 Barcelona Fashion week and stunned audience members with its contemporary translation of classic Samurai looks.
Models took to the runway stage in a wardrobe of caped coats, impeccably tailored tops and over-sized trousers that were an urban nod to traditional, Japanese-themed attire. Models also donned top bun hair styles that were reminiscent of Samurai coifs often seen throughout the world of art and popular culture.
The Josep Abril Spring/Summer 2015 runway show highlighted fighter-themed looks that were a fresh and modern homage to Japanese Samurai styling. Though it revealed martial arts undertones, this menswear line focused on functionality and presented wearable pieces that were designed to fit one's everyday life within an urban setting.
