Otto Karvonen and Jon Irigoyen's [Green Corner](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studios-workac-and-ignacio-urquiza-architects) [collaborative installation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flower-market-20) involves the daring artists crossing over the government's turf. The Helsinki-based artists wanted to question the ownership and functionality of public space, such as that of parking lots and parking spaces. To prove their point, they filled a minivan with green grass and picked a parking spot to protest at. They lay the grass down in the space and filled it with lawn chairs, blankets and outdoor toys. Essentially, they transformed the bland parking pavement into a lush lounge-able park!

Otto Karvonen and Jon Irigoyen's Green Corner installation turned a parking spot into a park to prove that public space isn't successfully being utilized. Hopefully, this installation drives their point further!
