Most of the work that's featured in the gallery shows his love of skulls. Using primarily [ink, oil and digital work](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wasted-youth-x-tappei) to draw his illustrations, Bergeron creates unique colored and [black-and-white portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sen-donnan) of skulls doing day-to-day activities; other pieces are simply a drawing of the head itself. Johnathan Beregeron isn't limited to just skulls, however; he has many other must-see works that showcase his versatile artistic skills. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 39% | Activity: 62% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Skull Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create a platform to connect artists specializing in skull art with collectors and enthusiasts. - **Ink and Oil Illustration:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop new techniques or tools for ink and oil illustration to elevate the medium and attract a wider audience. - **Digital Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Build a virtual gallery platform that allows artists like Johnathan Bergeron to showcase and sell their digital artworks. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art Marketplaces:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create an online marketplace specifically catering to artists and collectors of skull art. - **Art Supplies:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop innovative art supplies tailored to the unique needs of ink and oil illustrators. - **Digital Art Platforms:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Build a platform that combines traditional and digital art, providing artists with tools and features to create and sell their works. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Surreal Love-Themed Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joakim-ojanen.md) - [Artistic Rum Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artists-of-the-abyss.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [3D-Printed Skeletal Sneakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/exoskyn.md) - [Artistic Jaw-Dropping Lessons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/masters-of-anatomy.md) - [Glamorous Artful Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-jane.md) - [Intricate Resin Hand-Painted Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snh003.md) - [Bone Powder-Made Home Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/souhaib-ghanmi.md) - [Artist-Designed Collectible Dining Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/killer-napkins.md)
